Flood Shutter

The Flood Shutter is an overhead self-closing automated barrier shutter system is suitable for domestic or commercial applications where flood protection is required.

 

The barrier can be integrated in to surrounding architectural elements for concealed appearance.

 

Stainless steel guide rails with light weight extruded aluminium panels which compress to form a water-resistant seal. System has a 99.5% water penetration resistance rating when flooding occurs.

Proprietary design which can suit each project’s flood protection height requirements and opening widths. Available spans range from 1200mm to 7000mm.

 

Motor box and panel housing can be exposed or above ceiling.

Early warning alarm system initiated using flood sensor pit.

System deployment via overhead box.

Maintenance

Periodic maintenance is required, and system testing is completed using Control Panel functionality.
